Does stacking cloud the base?
We ship with a protective film on the base to avoid face-to-face rub; display contact marks wipe off with mild detergent. On a polished part clouding comes from surface scratches, not the film.

A clear acrylic storage box is a non-sealing container whose contents stay visible from outside, made in cast sheet for high clarity and finished by laser cutting to accurate dimensions.
A storage box works because you can see inside. The AC-SB300 holds 3 mm rigidity while laser cutting keeps every corner smooth enough for retail display.
Thickness and rigidity
3 mm is the thinnest sheet that holds small-item weight without the sides bowing, so boxes stack. Thinner 2 mm is lighter but corners chip; thicker 5 mm is stronger but heavier and dearer, so 3 mm is the balance in this size band.
Laser cutting and flame polish
Laser cutting holds the dimensions and a following flame polish turns the cut face glossy. An unpolished edge reads cloudy white, so on clear acrylic the edge finish is what decides perceived clarity.
