Is the frost a print or in the material?
It is blasted into the surface to scatter light, not a print. It cannot flake and no base colour shows through when it wears.
Definition
A display riser is a plinth that lifts a product to gather the eye; clear sheet reads as a floating product, frosted sheet blocks the backdrop to leave only the item in front.
Lifting a product one step on the counter creates a height difference from the surrounding items that draws the eye. The AC-RB1 uses 5 mm sheet so it also carries heavier products.
Clear vs frosted
Clear reads premium; frosted hides the wiring and wall behind the counter to leave only the product. The same shape changes between floating the item and cutting the backdrop by finish alone, so the finish follows the display intent.
How load is rated
The rating assumes a load spread across the whole base. A point load starts a crack, so when a product’s feet or corners press down, add rubber pads to spread the pressure.
